Single mothers, the new homeless population

Single mothers with children, the new homeless population on the rise in America. Critics slam the statisitcs of children raised without fathers and stereotype mothers as the fault. Taking a moment to realize the hardships these familes go through could build some compassion in others. We could all be that one family needing help someday!  Living in Georgia the statistics show that families are struggling more than ever these days.  There is not a white cloud over the people that have lost their jobs and homes and are trying to survive these difficult times.  Government seems fixated on spending money and claiming stimulus but it's not trickling down to those that truly need the assistance.  How many familes will be homeless before its all said and done?
